Title: Sales Administrator
Duration: 4 Months
Location: Redwood City, CA 94065\
Shift: Can range between 5am-2pm, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm shift depending on needs, the 5am-2pm or 7am-4pm shift may start after training.
The Sales Administrator (Order Management/Sales Support) position is currently remote but will transition into a hybrid work model working out of our Redwood City, CA office. Local candidates preferred.
Initial primary tasks entail processing Quotations and Sales Orders in Oracle, providing excellent customer service (for both external and internal/Sales) and working closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Procurement, Finance, Service, Order Fulfillment and Logistics.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process high volume of Quotations and Sales Orders in Oracle (according to SOX controls, corporate policy, and Revenue Recognition requirements) for the AMER Region, in a timely and accurate manner.
Support Instrument Field Sales with requests.
Responsible for managing specific Sales Districts.
Submit customer master/account requests.
Submit requests for credits/re-bills/RMAs/Replacements.
Skills and Knowledge/Minimum Requirements:
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to articulate clearly and effectively with customers (external and internal) and to write business correspondence. Computer literate, proficient/intermediate in Word, Excel, Outlook. Must have a team-oriented mindset and be able to build collaborative relationships with management, peers, and cross-functional teams, such as Shipping, Procurement, Finance, Service and Logistics. Flexibility to accommodate fluctuations in workload.
Preferred Qualifications: Oracle experience. Experience with Order Management processes (quote to order process). Experience with Revenue Recognition requirements. Experience with Pre/Post-Sales Support. Experience operating in a Customer Service team. Experience in the Biotech Industry a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred or 4+ years relevant experience.
